Course Schedule - Spring 2015

Spring 2015 Course Description and Bio:  Click on the course code (for example, Mo-A1-10-TBE) just above the course title for a full description of that course and a brief biography of its course leader(s). We urge you to read the course description carefully before choosing a course.

5-week Courses: Note that some 5-week courses are given in the first half of the semester (designated by 5a in the course code), and others in the second half (5b in the course code).

Note: Because the start of the first-half 5-week courses was delayed by a week because of snow conditions, the second-half 5-week courses will start later than originally scheduled.  Their starting dates have been been adjusted below; the affected courses are

Mo-B2-5b-TBE  Knishes and Empanadas: Jewish Stories from Latin America  Gene Kupferschmid
(5-week course now starting April 13)
Mo-C3-5b-TBE  An Anthropologist on Mars: Clinical Novels from Oliver Sacks  MaryAnn Byrnes
(5-week course now starting April 13)
Th-A3-5b-TBE  The Blues: Origins and Influences  Bonnie Lass
(5-week course now starting April 16)

Film courses:  Although they extend over 2 blocks (2 course periods), they count as one course; i.e., the fee is the same as for one course.
