Course Registration

Welcome to LLAIC online course registration. 

All courses will be conducted on Zoom.

Spring 2021 Course Registration:  Begins on Monday, Jan. 25, at 10:00 am
It's first-come, first-served so you know immediately what course(s) you are in.
Membership is required to take courses.
Members may register for any number of courses.  A film course, although two periods long, counts as one course.

Fee Schedule: With our low-cost pricing policy, there are only a few fee amounts that you need to know about:

 10-week course 
  $100  per course  
   5-week course 
    $50  per course  
 10-week course
      with 2 class periods
  $150  per course  Counts as one course -
     for example, a film course
  5-week course
      with 2 class periods
    $75  per course  Counts as one course
  6, 7, 8, or 9-week course
    $10  per course-week
 For example: $70 for 7-week course
 Courses alternating one-period
 and two-period sessions
    $15  per course-week
 Counts as a two-period course -
     for example: book discussion and film viewing

Cancellation/Refund Policy:
  • The membership fee is non-refundable.
  • Course[s] can be cancelled for a 100% refund for up to one week after the date of registration
  • Course[s] can be cancelled for a 50% refund for up to one month after the date of registration. After one month a refund will be available for family health reasons only.

Online Course Registration, in more detail
Registration will take place online, using ProClass software, with credit card payment – no paper forms for you to fill out, no checks for you to write and mail.  It will also be done on a first-come, first-served basis, so you'll know immediately what course you are in - no waiting for a lottery to be run only to find out that a course is already full. 

Preparation: Before you begin online registration, please be ready with
  • Course descriptions:
    Read the course descriptions carefully so that you can select the course(s) you would like to register for;
  • Course list: 
  • Make a list of courses you would like to choose, in preference order.  If a course is already full then you'll be able to try your next preference immediately;

  • Credit card: 
  • Have your credit card at hand, since payment is by credit card
    (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, but not American Express)

  • Online Account:  
  • If you are a first-time member, have a username and password in mind for creating the online registration account; the password should be a minimum of eight characters. 

    If you are a returning member and have forgotten your username and password, click on "Forgot your password" to reset them.

  • Registration Guides:  
  • To help you through the registration procedure we have prepared user guides; go to the bottom of the page to download. We strongly urge you to print the registration guide, and then to follow it carefully.

    Course Leaders (CLs):

    In appreciation of the time and effort that it takes to prepare and deliver a course, CLs have the option registering  in courses of their choice prior to general online registration. There is no fee for as many courses as a CL would like to choose.
