We have an exciting series of special events planned for non-class days this fall. These extracurricular activities are free of charge, open to all LLAIC members, and will be held at Temple Shir Tikva, 141 Boston Post Road (Rte. 20), Wayland.

Friday morning, October 28, 10:00 a.m. - noon
Olive Darragh and Wes Smith will show the film he produced, "The Forgotten Four", a documentary about the first four black football players in the NFL. After the film they will lead a discussion on diversity in the workplace.

Friday morning, November 4, 10:30 - noon
Presentation by the Korean Culture and Spirit Project entitled The Hidden Treasures of Korean Art and Modern Korea. The event will include two short documentary films. At the conclusion of the second film, homemade Korean desserts will be served to all attendees.

Tuesday evening, November 8, 7:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Election Night Carnival - Harriet Starrett will lead us in discussion as we enjoy some delicious desserts and watch the election returns.

Monday morning, November 28, 10:00 - noon
Tom Stratigakis, President, Excalibur Consulting, will present the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI), a questionnaire on your psychological preferences in perceiving the world around you and in making decisions. The inventory will be administered during the program, and the results will be presented in a way to help you interpret them.  Cost of the materials is $35 per person; please mail your checks to Joe Bongiardina, PO Box 211, Harvard, MA.
